Neil Laws

Neil is the most experienced real estate practitioner permanently located within the Borough of Queenscliffe and he has built an enviable reputation over more than thirty years locally for his singular concern for his vendor’s interests, his honesty and integrity and his depth of knowledge in all things real estate.

Neil is the consummate real estate professional being involved all of his working life with real estate in either Valuations or Sales and Leasing. He spent some thirteen years with the Valuer Generals Office (the last seven in the Geelong district) before moving to private practice and general real estate in 1984.

He and his wife Robyn have lived in Point Lonsdale since 1979 and during that time he has been actively involved in numerous sporting and community based organizations whilst raising three daughters.

"Over that time I have seen huge changes to the character and structure of the Borough but most importantly from a real estate perspective, I have experienced more variations in the market than anyone else currently working in real estate. The one thing that stands out in our market more than anything else is that buyers will always value quality. In the Borough, that is a given".

Neil’s commitment to the real estate industry is legendary. He is a past President and Secretary of the Geelong Division of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria and was elected State President for the 2007 year. He was a Ministerial appointment to the Estate Agents Council in 2006,a Director on the Board of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria between 2002 - 2012 ,the Real Estate Institute of Australia 2007-2008,Chairman of the Board of realestateview.com.au - the industry owned real estate internet portal-between 2007 - 2015.

He is currently a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and the Australian Property Institute, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the only REIV Accredited Auctioneer and Sworn Valuer based on the Bellarine Peninsula.
